So I’ve made a decision, blog posts will be once a week, every Wednesday! Holds my a** accountable, you know?
It’s been a while since I’ve updated on life, and there is just so much going on!
Oliver will be 5 months old on the 26th which is just insane. He is so full of personality and love, he has figured out that he can yell when he demands something instead of cry and it’s hard not to laugh. My favorite thing for him right now is our soft structured Happy Baby carrier, because when he is fighting that sleep (so fun) that’s just about the only thing that will get him there! He is so happy when he wakes up, smiling as soon as he sees a face. He is a BIG boy, at his 4 month check up he came in at a whopping 17 lbs 2 oz and 26 1/2 “, let’s just say I don’t need to work out my arms. We have been taking him to our apartment pool and it’s the CUTEST THING EVER, he was unsure at first and now he loves it and kicks his little chubby legs all over the place (check my Instagram stories for cute swim vids)
As for the adults in the house? Justin has been working hard all summer at the farm before completing his last school semester. Those farm fresh eggs are worth it alone for me! He is pursuing an internship that he is required at his dream company to work at so fingers crossed for him! He deserves it. I have been taking summer classes like a GD maniac to complete my certifications in payroll and accounting, summer classes are no freaking joke my friends. I have been trying to be a lot more conscious of plastic use and waste and I am super curious about cloth diapering, we are doing EC but not full time, any parents out there have any advice?! I just don’t have any clue where to start. Also, would love any products or tips on reducing waste if you have any.
My awesome MIL is a photographer and has been taking amazing photos of Oliver and him and I together that are just so amazing to have those memories when he is growing so fast. So to end this little update, enjoy some cute photos of our faces!
Stay tuned next Wednesday for my next post,
